Minutes
The Episcopal Church Women 40th Annual Meeting of the Diocese of Central Florida was called to order at 9:05 by President Brenda Perry.
Helen Laughton presented the slate of officers:
Trish Inago – Treasurer
Regina Harris- Secretary
CPC – Diane Vialiogorsy
Nominations were open to be accepted from the floor. There were no nominations from the floor. Laverne Collins made a motion to accept the slate as presented. It was seconded by Sharon Payne. The motion carried.
The officers for 2009-2010 were installed at Eucharist by Bishop John Howe.
Jackie Robe, Province IV President was our guest and brought us update to on a few things happenings in our Provinces.
The minutes of the last meeting were read. Sara Castelli moved that the minutes be accepted. The motion carried.
The annual treasurer’s report and the budget for 2010 were present by Kay Ikeler.
Reports on the “Honored Women” given by Doris Mattingly, Triennial 2009, by Kay Ikeler, Betty Palmer, and Doris Mattingly, and Kanuga, by Helen Laughton.
Linda Ball, our keynote speaker, was thought provoking, she inspired us, and she made us laugh in talking to us about miracles.
We were closed in prayer and the meeting was adjourned at 2:30.
