Minutes

The Central Florida Episcopal Church Women 41^st Annual Meeting was called to order at 9:15 a.m. by President Brenda Perry. The President welcomed all and the meeting began with the ECW prayer.  

Anita Persans presented the guideline for the Silent Auction. The proceeds will benefit the Mosquito Net Project.

Sara Castelli, Northwest Deanery Director and member of the nominating committee read the By Laws for the election of officers and presented the Slate of Officers for 2011 as follows:

Helen Laughton – President; Jacquelyn Stewart – Vice President; UTO Coordinator – Lela (Peg) Cordell.

Sara Castelli entertained nominations from the floor. There were none. Our new officers by affirmation are Helen Laughton, President;  Jacquelyn Stewart, Vice President and Lela (Peg) Cordell, UTO Coordinator.

We recessed to the chapel for Holy Eucharist, celebrated by Bishop Howe. Our guest organist was Karen Jones, St. Timothy’s, Daytona Beach and guest soloist Brejoya A. Perry.

The meeting reconvened at 11:15. Brenda Perry introduced the Keynote Speaker, Jackie Robe, Province IV President. The keynote speaker was preceded by a liturgical dance performed by Brejoya Perry.

Following lunch the minutes of the last meeting were presented and accepted. Trish Iagno presented the proposed budget for 2011 and the Treasurer’s report. The budget and the treasurer report will be posted on the website.

The meeting closed in prayer was adjourned at 2:35.
